1. Research on therapeutic material basis and quality control of natural medicine 

Based on HR-MSn technology, target components are,0 conveniently identified. Large quantities of target compounds were obtained by using the high efficiency separation method. Furthermore, finger-printing and content determination are used to control the quality of natural medicine.

2. Research on biomimetic synthesis of active ingredients in natural medicine

Biomimetic synthesis routes of active ingredients in natural medicine are explored using simple synthesis method. 

3. Research on the key processing technology in production of traditional Chinese medicine 

The studies were supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang province, and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Meanwhile, more than 20 SCI cited peer-reviewed papers have been published. Seven patents  have been authorized and one of them has been transferred to the traditional Chinese medicine manufacturers.
