Recently, Ren Jinhui’s review article entitled "2-Activated 1,3-enynes in enantioselective synthesis" was published in Organic&Biomolecular Chemistry. This review article mainly describes the application of 2-position activated enynes in asymmetric synthesis in the past 10 years. Such asymmetric reactions have shown their unique value in the construction of important frameworks such as chiral furans, allenes and tetrahydropyrans. This review is expected to provide a valuable reference for the wider application of 2-position activated enynes in asymmetric synthesis. The supervisors of this postgraduate are Dr. Bao Xiaoze and Professor Wang Hong.
