      Dr. Sijia Wang’s article entitled “Gut microbiota-mediated xanthine metabolism is associated with resistance to high-fat diet-induced obesity” was accepted by The Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry. This article found that gut bacteria-mediated xanthine metabolism is closely related to obesity resistance caused by high-fat diet through metabolomics and microbiome analyses. The Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry is a JCR Q1 journal, IF 4.87. His advisors are Prof. Hong Wang and Dr. Bin Wei.
