Recently，our group’s review manuscripTextt, “The Development of Organocatalytic Asymmetric Reduction of Carbonyls and Imines Using Silicon Hydrides”, has been accepted by “European Journal of Organic Chemistry”. In this review, we have summarized the development of organocatalyzed asymmetric silicon hydride reduction since 2006. It can provide a valuable reference for the research in related fields. The first author of this review is Dr. Chen Wenchao, the corresponding authors are professor Ye Xinyi and professor Wang Hong, and the co-advisor is professor Tan Choon-Hong.
