On May 25, 2019, the Group held the "Exchange Meeting on Marine Biomedicine and Industrial Development" in Putuo, Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province
During May 25thto 26th 2019, the seminar of industrial development of marinebio-drug was held in Academician Workstation in Zhoushan, which was hosted bymarine drug group from Zhejiang University of Technology and Hadal Bio-techLtd. Ms. Ang Cai Xia Esther from Nanyang Technological University and other 70researchers and students from Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University ofTechnology, Ningbo University, and Zhejiang Ocean University joined the seminarthis time.
Prof. HongWang from Zhejiang University of Technology, School of Pharmaceutical Sciencehosted the seminar and introduced the work progress of Academician Workstationfunded by two national key popularized projects (No. 2017YFE0103100 &No.2018YFC0311000). She conducted further discussion focused on current progress.On the other side, Prof. Bin Wu from Zhejiang University introduced ‘IsolationTechnology Applied in Separating Marine Sourced Natural Products’; Prof. ShanHe from Ningbo University introduced ‘Marine New Microbial ResourceMining and Natural Products Discovery’; Prof. Bin Wang from Zhejiang OceanUniversity introduced ‘Highly Valued Utilization of Marine Biological Resources-- Preparation and Activity Evaluation of Functional Peptide of DietotherapyType’. All presenters communicated smoothly on development of marine bio-techand deployed future work based on well cooperation.
The chief directors of the seminar discussed some problems such as: howto rearrange the marine bio-tech and private capital, how to create innovationenvironment and condition, how to foster independent patent of marinebio-product, and how to establish a brand new platform for marine bio-indudtry.
