Recently, our project "Marine-derived Polysaccharides for Prevention of Obesity and Type Two Diabetes" won the first prize under the guidance of Prof. Wang Hong, Dr. Wei Bin, Dr. Ying You-Min. The team members are Mr. Zhou Zhen-Yi (PhD student of 2021), Ms. Yue Yu-Jie (PhD student of 2021), Ms. Ying Le-Yi (Undergraduate student of 2018), Ms. Huang Wen-Jing (Undergraduate student of 2019), Mr. Hu Gang-Ao (Master student of 2021), Mr. Wang Wei (Master student of 2021), Mr. Pan Jiang-Wei (Master student of 2021), Mr, Ke Song-Ze (PhD student of 2017) and Mr. Wang Si-Jia (PhD student of 2016).

The 8th Zhejiang Marine Knowledge Innovation Competition, founded in 2014, is co-hosted by the Department of Natural Resources of Zhejiang Province, Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, Communist Youth League of Zhejiang Province and The Students’ Federation of Zhejiang Province. The annual competition aims to guide the public to establish modern ocean concepts, vigorously popularize ocean knowledge, spread ocean culture, enhance ocean awareness, promote the innovative spirit and practical ability of marine science and technology.
