Recently, the article entitled "New Cembrane-Type Diterpenoids from the South China Sea Soft Coral Sinularia nanolobata" by Na Lin, a master's student jointly trained by our group and Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, was accepted by the Chinese Journal of Chemistry. This article mainly describes the structural identification of nine new cembrane-type diterpenoids isolated from the soft coral Sinularia nanolobata in the South China Sea. Their absolute conformations were determined by DP4+ calculations, chemical reactions and X-ray diffraction analysis, and all the isolates were tested for anti-inflammatory activity. The supervisors are researcher Yue-wei Guo and Professor Hong Wang, and the co-advisor is Professor Chengshi Jiang.
