Recently, the article entitled “β-Cyclopiazonic acid binds irondemonstrating siderophore-like activity and promotes growth in P. aeruginosa”by Yuqi Guo of our group was accepted by the Journal of Oceanology andLimnology. This paper reports the structure and siderophore activity of thecompound β-Cyclopiazonic acid, which provides a valuable reference forthe development of new antibacterial agents.
