Recently, the research paper titled "Discovery of New Siderophores from a Marine Streptomycetes sp. via Combined Metabolomics and Analysis of Iron Heating Activity" was accepted by the journal Journal of Food and Agricultural Chemistry (the latest impact factor is 5.895). This study utilized classic CAS activity guided mass spectrometry (MS) metabolomics to analyze the production of ferritin by Streptomyces sp. FIMYZ-003 from marine sources in iron deficient environments, and the yield decreased with iron ion concentration. The structure and activity of four ferritin Fradiamine A-D were determined, and the biosynthetic pathway of ferritin was analyzed.
