Recently, doctor Zhikun Yang's research article entitled "Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of novel phenylfuran-bisamide derivatives as P-glycoprotein inhibitors against multidrug resistance in MCF-7/ADR cell", accepted by European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (IF: 7.088). In this paper, a novel P-gp inhibitor y12d with novel structure was reasonably designed by using computer-aid drug discovery and classical drug design concepts, combined with the structural information of P-gp protein. Compound y12d can effectively reverse the multidrug resistance of breast cancer cells and shows great application potential.
